SnapBizz plans expansion in Hyderabad
The company is looking at on-boarding 3,500 large and small-format stores in the next three months in Hyderabad even as it looks at on-boarding 65,000 stores in both the Telugu States
Hyderabad: New-age solutions provider for neighbourhood stores SnapBizz is looking to expand its operations in Hyderabad by strengthening its partnership with banks and other logistic companies. The company that has investments from Qualcomm, Nielsen and Ratan Tata is looking at on-boarding 3,500 large and small-format stores in the next three months in Hyderabad even as it looks at on-boarding 65,000 stores in both the Telugu-speaking States in next six months.
The company offers products which cover the whole gamut of the stores starting from point of sales (PoS) device to order taking app to a platform that will enable the store to track their demand and supply of goods. Backed by artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, the platform enables small and large stores to become digitally empowered and optimise their store operations.
“We started our operations in Hyderabad in 2017 and since then we have been able to on-board 700 stores on our platform. However, with support from our partners like banks and other institutions, we are looking at massive expansion in this region and are targeting both large retailers and small stores as well. The pandemic has also been a blessing in disguise for us as we are seeing large scale adoption of digital solutions among our neighbourhood stores,” said Prem Kumar, CEO and founder, SnapBizz.
For the pan-India operations, the company is looking at reaching 3,50,000 small stores in the next two years and one lakh large stores from its current 15,000 small and 10,000 large stores client base. Other than banks, FMCG brands, e-commerce players, wholesalers/distributors and finserve players can engage with SnapBizz to promote their brand among these stores and/or offer financial products.
“During the Covid-19 period, we were able to launch three new solutions – SnapSupply wherein brands and distributors can list their supplies online through a mobile app, SnapPulse which is an analytics solution for the store to track their performance and SnapTek which accelerates technology migration. We have also launched our consumer app on a small scale wherein the store can list their products and send it as an SMS to their customers and in turn the customers can either download the app or just open the link to access the product catalogue and place orders,” said Kumar.
