Hyderabad: Realtor S Sreedhar Rao, who went on from getting bail in a cheating case into a wanted man in a sodomy case in just a few hours last Friday, now has a lookout notice issued against him. This means the cops and security agencies will be on the watch for him from all police stations, airports, railway stations and public places to prevent him from escaping from the city.
The Cyberabad police, who registered a case of sodomy, among other charges, against him on Friday might have been a bit late in beginning to look for him because Rao had managed to secure bail in a cheating case booked by the Raidurgam police the same day. According to the police, he disappeared as soon as he heard of the sodomy case and still remains at large.
Police, who enquired with his family members and close friends, had earlier pasted a notice on the door of his residence asking him to appear before them for investigation in the case booked against him at Sanathnagar, which has charges of unnatural sex, threatening and voluntarily causing hurt among others.
With Rao apparently ignoring the notice and allegedly having jumped bail, the police issued the lookout notice, alerting all police stations, airports, railway stations and other places to track and nab him at the earliest.
Rao, who was arrested by the Raidurgam Police in a cheating case, had managed to secure bail from the High Court last Friday, but things changed quickly when his 34-year-old personal fitness trainer approached the Sanathnagar police, accusing the realtor of sexually assaulting him at Rao’s residence in Jubilee Hills in October.
