Sonu Nigam launches ‘Kahani Meri’ and announces Satrangi Re India Tour to celebrate seven shades of love

On his 52nd birthday, Sonu Nigam launched his new single ‘Kahani Meri’ and announced the 7-city Satrangi Re India Tour. Themed around seven emotional colours of love, the tour begins soon with ticket sales opening on August 1.

Hyderabad: Celebrating his 52nd birthday on a high note, Padma Shri awardee Sonu Nigam has announced his upcoming Satrangi Re India Tour, a unique 7-city musical journey themed around the seven colours of love. The tour promises to explore a spectrum of emotions through a specially curated setlist from Nigam’s vast musical repertoire.

The tour, conceptualised by NR Talent & Event Management in collaboration with BookMyShow, will cover Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Shillong, and Delhi-NCR. Tickets will go live at 12 PM on August 1, exclusively on BookMyShow.

Coinciding with the tour announcement, Sonu Nigam also launched his heartfelt new single ‘Kahani Meri’, composed by PVNS Rohit and released under his independent label, I Believe Music. The song, which blends Hindustani and Carnatic classical elements, was filmed against the scenic backdrop of Leh, reflecting life’s quiet introspections. The single was launched in a touching moment with Nigam’s youngest fan, Vedarrth, a one-year-old who shares his birthday with the singer.

The Satrangi Re India Tour is structured around the metaphor of seven emotional colours — from the passionate red of longing to the tranquil purple of peace. It will feature popular hits like ‘Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Papa Meri Jaan’, ‘Zoobi Doobi’, and ‘Shukran Allah’, among others.

“Over the last four decades, my fans have given me boundless love. Satrangi Re 2025 is my way of celebrating this bond through the many shades of love,” said Sonu Nigam, adding that launching Kahani Meri with Vedarrth was an emotional highlight of his birthday.
