South Central Railway to run special trains between Charlapalli and Kottayam for Onam
South Central Railway will operate special trains between Charlapalli and Kottayam to meet the additional passenger rush during Onam. The services will run on selected dates in August, with stops at several major stations and multiple coach classes for passengers.

Hyderabad: To clear extra rush of passengers for Onam Festival, South Central Railway will be running special trains between Charlapalli and Kottayam.
Accordingly, Train No. 07197 Charlapalli – Kottayam will be operated on August 16, 23 and 30, departing at 7.15 am and arriving at 12.25 pm the next day. Similarly, Train No. 07198 Kottayam – Charlapalli will be operated on August 17, 24 and 31, departing at 4.45 pm and arriving 00.30 am the next day.
This special train will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, and Ernakulam Town stations in both directions. This special train will consist of 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, and General Second Class Coaches.
