Hyderabad: The sports and techno-cultural fest of Malla Reddy University ‘Sparksintellentia’ was inaugurated by Labour Minister and Chairman of the University, Ch Malla Reddy here on Thursday.

As part of industry and academics collaboration, the Sparksintellentia also featured prototype models of Akash, Agni, Prithvi and torpedoes by DRDO and BDL. On the occasion, Sanjiv Mittal, Financial Advisor, Defence Services, interacted with the students on the defence capabilities of India, according to a press release.

During the sports meet, students from around 50 universities participated and exhibited their innate potential and skill. Dr. VSK Reddy, VC, Malla Reddy University lauded the efforts of students for excelling not only in their studies but also in sports. The university is also gearing up to celebrate the annual day on Saturday.

Dr. M. Anjaneeyulu, Registrar, Dr. Pramod, Dean, Research and Development, RK Venkat, Director, Placement and Career Guidance Cell were present along with other heads of the departments.
