Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Saturday night conducted a special drive aimed at curbing illegal activities and booked cases against violators of law.
The police checked farm houses, pubs, hookah centres, graveyards, crematorium grounds, open places for public boozing and streets for immoral activities.

“In all 510 places were checked and cases booked against the persons found indulging in illegal activities. During the checking 14 persons were found consuming ganja while 26 women who are into prostitution were held for luring customers,” said the police.
The police also booked cases under Motor Vehicle Act violations for triple riding and improper registration number plates.
