Yadadri-Bhongir: Astothara Shatha Ghatbhisekham was performed at Yadadri Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple by the temple priests in view of Swathi Nakshatra on Monday.
The temple witnessed huge rush of devotees as darshan and arjitha sevas were resumed after 37 days following the Covid-triggered lockdown. The temple priests also performed Swarna Pushparchana to the presiding deity of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy in Balalayam.
The devotees also conducted giri pradikshina around the hill shrine on the auspicious day of Swathi Nakshthram, which is considered as the birth star of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy.
The temple authorities put in place measures to ensure that the devotees follow the Covid appropriate behaviour including maintaining physical distancing and wearing face masks.
