Hyderabad: Special Covid-19 vaccination drives were held in several housing societies across the city during the week.
While Aparna Cyber Commune in Nallagandla held a special drive on Sunday, a drive was held for the second time in My Home Vihanga in Financial District on June 5. Apart from residents, the housing societies are also making sure the staffers working in their societies including security guards and house helps were vaccinated.
“We have tied up with hospital managements and as in-house vaccination was taking time, we booked slots for staffers working in our society,” said A Narsimhan, president Golf View Apartment, Financial district.
Rajeev Kumar Gautam from Aparna Commune said that 345 received the jab on Sunday and another drive was scheduled for Tuesday. Dozens of housing societies were approaching hospitals to get their residents vaccinated.
