SR University’s PRAGATHI 2.0 project expo draws over 120 teams from across institutions
SR University's PRAGATHI 2.0, a national-level project expo held in Warangal, witnessed participation from more than 120 teams, including over 50 from other universities. The event showcased innovative projects and technology-driven solutions.

Warangal: SR University’s PRAGATHI 2.0, a National Level Project Expo 2026 attracted an enthusiastic response from young innovators from various educational institutions.
Over 120 teams, including more than 50 teams from other universities took part in the event organised under the theme “Innovate, Create, Inspire,” showcasing innovative projects, working prototypes and technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.
Addressing students SRU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg stressed the importance of fostering innovation, research and entrepreneurship among students. Initiatives like PRAGATHI 2.0 play a vital role in nurturing creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Stressing the importance of industry–academia collaboration, he encouraged students to focus on sustainable technologies, emerging innovations and solutions that contribute to national development.
A panel of eight industry experts evaluated the projects, interacting with participating teams and assessing their innovations based on originality, technical implementation, feasibility, practical applications and societal relevance.
To recognise and encourage outstanding student talent, SR University announced a cash prize pool of Rs 1.50 lakh. A total of 23 prizes were given away; three university-level prizes and 20 theme-wise prizes across diverse technological domains. Vijay Ram Prasad, Manager–Technical, Antenna Products & SATCOM Division, Aerospace Systems Group, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad was among the industry representatives associated with the event.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg congratulated Dr. Ch. Hussain Basha, the convener of PRAGATHI 2.0 and team for making the event a success. He also commended Dr. R. Archana Reddy, Dean (Operations Growth); co-conveners Dr. Markala Karthik Reddy and Dr. Shravan Kumar Yadav, according to a release.
