SR University’s SPARKRILL 2026 kicks off at Hanamkonda
SR University’s three-day annual cultural fest SPARKRILL 2026 began at Ananthasagar in Hanamkonda on Saturday with vibrant performances and student participation. The event celebrates creativity, culture and holistic development, with music and dance performances lined up over the next two days

Hanamkonda: SR University’s three-day annual cultural fest SPARKRILL- 2026 got underway at Ananthasagar in Hanamkonda on Saturday.
University Registrar Dr P Venkata Ramana Rao along with Dean (Operations and Growth) Dr R Archana Reddy, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Dr AVV Sudhakar, Student Council conveners L Rishindrasai and A Santhoshini Reddy inaugurated the event.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Ramana Rao stated that SPARKRILL was a celebration of artistic brilliance, boundless energy and the vibrant spirit of students. Such platforms enable students to showcase their talents, build confidence, and cultivate teamwork and leadership skills.
Dr Sudhakar encouraged students to immerse themselves fully in the festivities and experience the joy, creativity, camaraderie and inspiration that SPARKRILL offers beyond classrooms. He expressed confidence that the fest would leave a lasting impressions on every participant.
Dr Archana Reddy inspired students to actively participate in competitions, performances, and interactive events, emphasising the importance of holistic development through cultural engagement.
The first day of SPARKRILL 2026 featured captivating performances including martial arts demonstration, energetic open mic sessions, and glamorous ramp walk besides dance performances. Food stalls attracted large crowds, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Embracing the ‘Ethnic Royal’ theme, students and faculty adorned traditional attire, bringing elegance and cultural richness to the campus. The second day would feature live DJ performance hosted by Prathyusha while the final day would witness performances by a popular Telugu dance reality show participant Pandu Master followed by a musical night by Indian Idol singer Sri Ram Chandra.
