Sreenidhi University hosts Woosong University delegation to strengthen global academic ties
Sreenidhi University hosted a senior delegation from South Korea’s Woosong University to explore academic collaboration, with discussions focusing on global exposure for students and participation in Woosong’s IDegree programme offering virtual courses in emerging technology and design domains.
Hyderabad: Sreenidhi University hosted a senior delegation from the globally reputed Woosong University, South Korea, reaffirming its commitment to strong international partnerships. The delegation was led by Dr. Sang Han Kim, Board Member and Dr. Mayank Vig, Senior Regional Manager India, Sri Lanka & Middle East, Woosong University.
The delegation engaged in high-level deliberations with the Pro-Chancellor Dr. Narasimha Reddy and the Vice Chancellor Dr. Ananth Padmanabhan, along with senior University officials. Both universities focused on the possibility for Indian students across disciplines to gain exposure to the technology and business landscape in South Korea.
The IDegree program, developed by Woosong University to open up innovative learning opportunities for students across borders, featured as a significant opportunity in this regard. 10 students from Sreenidhi University were provided with the opportunity to attend semester-long courses in virtual mode in cutting edge areas such as UI/UX, design thinking, and data visualization.
