As part of PV birth centenary celebrations, it was decided to develop Vangara into a tourist destination with an intention to enable the future generations know more about Narasimha Rao.

Following instructions from the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the PV Vignan Vedika is coming up in eight acres. Under the first phase, a water fountain along with the lighting facility would be developed at the statue of Narasimha Rao.

A photo gallery, a meditation centre, science museum, children’s play area, statues of freedom fighters and food courts, among other facilities would be also provided.

Narasimha Rao’s residence will be developed into a memorial museum that will highlight the turning points in his life and the reforms that he brought in various fields. His clothes would be displayed in the museum. The State government would be spending Rs.75 lakh for construction of benches at the statue of Narasimha Rao apart from providing drinking water facility and developing landscaping and pathways.
