SRSP Stage II to be named after late Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, declares Revanth Reddy
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the Sriram Sagar Project Stage II will be named after the late Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, recognising his efforts in bringing Godavari water to Tungaturthy.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy declared that Sriram Sagar Project (SRSP) stage-II would be named after former Minister late Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, who was instrumental in getting River Godavari water to the Tungaturthy constituency under the project.
He participated in the 10th-day ceremony of the departed soul at Tungaturthy on Sunday and said a government order would be issued to this effect in 24 hours.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister recalled the services of the former Minister, especially his active participation in ensuring the timely completion of the SRSP phase II works.
Revanth Reddy also said Congress MP Rahul Gandhi condoled the death of Ramreddy Damodar Reddy and wrote a letter to his son Sarvotham.
“In future, the Gandhi Family will provide all political support to Damodar Reddy’s family,” he assured.
