Staffers from Adilabad police dpt shine in state-level sports meet
Police personnel from Adilabad won several medals in yoga, taekwondo, pencak silat and bodybuilding at a state-level sports meet in Hyderabad. SP Akhil Mahajan felicitated the medal winners and urged other police personnel to take inspiration from their achievements
Adilabad: Police personnel from the district shone at a state-level sports meet held in Hyderabad recently. SP Akhil Mahajan congratulated the winners and handed over certificates of appreciation to them here on Monday.
A Rohini bagged two gold medals in the singles and artistic pair yoga events, while she won a bronze medal in the artistic group yoga event. P Puja won a gold medal in artistic pair yoga and a bronze medal in the artistic group yoga event. A Rupa bagged a silver medal in artistic yoga and a bronze medal in the traditional yoga category.
Similarly, A Prashant won two bronze medals in taekwondo and pencak silat, while P Meer Singh clinched a silver medal in bodybuilding. Akhil said they had brought recognition to the district by excelling in the meet. He asked other police personnel to draw inspiration from the medal winners and excel in sports.
