Stage set for BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations in Dallas, KTR to be chief guest

Hyderabad: The stage has been set with elaborate arrangements for the BRS Silver Jubilee Celebrations in the city of Dallas. The event, marking 25 years of the party’s remarkable journey, is scheduled for June 1 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. It will coincide with Telangana Formation Day.
BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao will take part in the event as the chief guest. He will be arriving in Dallas at 8:00 PM today, May 31, 2025, to a grand welcome by BRS supporters and the Telugu diaspora.
The city is abuzz with excitement as preparations for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Silver Jubilee celebrations reach the final stages. Mahesh Bigala, BRS Global NRI Coordinator, announced that the event is poised to be a milestone in the party’s history. It will be reflecting the spirit of Telangana and its global outreach.
“Telugu communities from various states across the US are converging in Dallas, and the local Telugu community is extending warm hospitality to all attendees,” Bigala said. There is an overwhelming response to the event. Thousands are registering for their participation. It highlights the deep connection of the Telangana diaspora with BRS and its leadership.
The celebrations will feature cultural programmes, including traditional performances like Bathukamma and Kolatam, handloom exhibitions, and displays of a Telangana Thalli statue replica and the Martyrs’ Memorial.
The event, organized by the BRS NRI USA wing under the leadership of Mahesh Bigala and BRS USA Advisory Board Chairman Mahesh Tanneru, will be addressed by prominent BRS leaders, former ministers, and elected representatives.
