Stalker dies in Karimnagar hospital
A native of Mannegudem of Medipalli mandal, Rajkumar (25), was harassing a 23 year-old women in the name of love for sometime.
Jagitial: A stalker, who slit his throat after attacking a woman with a knife on Saturday, died while undergoing treatment in Karimnagar hospital late on Saturday night.
A native of Mannegudem of Medipalli mandal, Rajkumar (25), who was harassing a 23 year-old women in the name of love for sometime, on Saturday went to the house of woman in Jabithapur of Jagitial rural mandal and entered into an argument with her.
As the argument turned serious, he pulled out a knife and attacked the woman. She sustained injuries on her neck, hip and other places. Immediately, he also slit his throat with the same knife.
Family members of the lady and neighbors shifted them to hospitals in an ambulance. While Rajkumar was shifted to district headquarters hospital, the woman was admitted to a private hospital in Jagitial.
As the condition of Rajkumar turned serious, he was shifted to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment late in the night.
The lady, who is studying Post Graduation, completed school education at her grandmother’s home in Mannegudem. Since then Rajkumar was harassing her in the name of love and developed a grudge as she refused his love proposal.
Rajkumar, who migrated to gulf countries in search of employment, came to his native place four months ago. Since then he has been trying to contact the woman over the phone. As she did not respond to his calls, he directly went to her home and attacked with a knife.
