Jogulamba Gadwal: The indefinite strike of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) employees in the district is continuing for the last 24 days. The SSA employees have been staging protests demanding regularization of their services, increase in pay scale and others.
On Thursday, the SSA employees, including men and women, intensified their strike. They conducted a ‘Vanta Varpu’ programme in which the SSA employees collectively cooked food on the road.
Raising slogans, the SSA employees appealed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to fulfill the promises he made to them before the Assembly elections.
SSA employees stage unique protest in Narayanpet
The SSA employees held a unique protest at Narayanpet by sporting masks of Congress Ministers and leaders. They have been staging different protests for the last 22 days in the district.
Holding placards and raising slogans, the SSA employees on Thursday conducted a rally by sporting the masks of the Chief Minister, BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Advisor to government Vem Narender Reddy and others.
