Students of DPS Nacharam connect with nature through cultivation

Students of DPS Nacharam connect with nature through cultivation

Delhi Public School, Nacharam conducted ‘Cultiva Project’ for its students during a virtual event recently. The school said that the aim of the project was to chemical-free, nutrient-rich vegetables to the children and to provide an opportunity to learn by doing.

The project also provided students with a lesson not only in the production process but also in the importance of sustainable agriculture. The school always strives to bridge between the classroom and real-world through experiential learning, the school said.


Children regrew vegetables and fruits using various plant parts. Microgreens were cultivated using the hydroponic method. Cultivation can provide a relaxing way to connect with nature and work with their hands.
