Students of Gitanjali Vedika convey gratitude to teachers through poems, music

Hyderabad: For students of Gitanjali Vedika, September 5 is a special day. It is not only Teachers’ Day but also the birthday of school founder principal and director Gita Karan. The students celebrated the double festivities on a virtual platform.
The event began with the Ganesh Vandana to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The students were excited to be a part of the special occasion and conveyed their love for the school founder through song and dance performances appreciated by the virtual audience.

To bring more awareness to the person for who Teachers’ Day is celebrated, class III students gave an enlightening speech on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s life and times. No event is ever complete without some foot-tapping music and grooves.
The students of class V put together an upbeat dance performance for all to enjoy. The programme concluded with a riveting mime act put together by students. The essence of ‘Guru is God’ was conveyed beautifully through this act which left the audience with something to think about.
