Students urged to join Narsampet GDC

Warangal Rural: Stating that the Government Degree College (GDC), Narsampet, was providing quality education, Principal Lt Dr Battini Chandramouli urged students to join the GDC. Stating that admissions for the academic year 2021-22 are made only through DOST, he told the students of Government Junior College Co-Education to join the Government Degree College, Narsampet.
“The college has good infrastructure and it has its own building with facilities like digital library, English language lab, computer lab, TSKC lab, well-equipped science labs and a virtual classroom for online and MOOCs lessons,” he said. He was visiting several colleges and villages in the Narsampet constituency in an attempt to encourage the students to join the GDC, Narsampet.
He said that the college was established in 1984 and it offers quality and skill-based education in various courses, most of them in English medium. He also mentioned that most of the students secured Post-Graduation seats in the State and Central Universities. “The college also offers free coaching in TSPSC competitive examinations for the students,” he added.
“We have qualified faculty members with PhD, NET, SLET qualifications selected by the State Public Service Commission. Since they were selected by APPSC/TSPSC, all of the students will have opportunity to get trained in competitive exams in addition to the regular curriculum,” Dr Chandramouli added.
Ch Venkataiah, lecturer in Political Science said that students should not fall prey to some educational institutions that offer ‘gifts’ for admission in their colleges. Faculty members including Dr T Sumathi, G Prasoona, K Ravi, S Surender, Bikshapathi, Premlatha, Rupavathi, and others participated in the campaign.
