The SKAT led by Group Captain Ajay Dasarathi flew in tight formations, maintaining precision, spacing and perfect timing. The team opened their show with Tejas aircraft formation, followed by letter ‘Y’ formation in tribute to youth of the country, a manoeuvre which received a huge applause.
Moments later, the team changed their position to form a beautiful diamond shape. One of highlights of the show was the breathtaking DNA manoeuvre, where the team formed a double helix structure with synchronised spirals and coloured smoke, leaving the crowd spellbound and speechless.
The IAF’s air devils aligned three aircraft in a single line and spread out different directions as they approached the crowd and left the viewers mesmerized by painting a beautiful love symbol in the sky. This was followed by a special message – ‘The Surya Kiran Team wishes all people of Hyderabad… Blue Skies and Happy Landings… Jai Hind’- straight from the team leader’s cockpit as team spread out in different directions.
