Farmers across Nalgonda district staged protests and road blockades on Friday over a severe urea shortage affecting kharif crops. Demonstrations began early morning in several mandals, with farmers demanding immediate fertiliser supply to prevent crop losses and mounting financial distress
He said that flying squads have already started checking of vehicles at strategic points and people should carry proof for transactions of money when they were carrying money more than Rs 50,000.
