The team went into the forest for a special operation five days ago and while returning, they got stuck near the Penugolu Vagu, which was overflowing due to heavy inflow of rain water, two days ago.
The 37-year-old Santosh, who was representing the Hero MotoSports in one of the world's biggest rallies, crashed on Wednesday and is being kept under a 24-hour observation.
The rescued were identified as Nagaraju (28), a resident of Pythara village, Dugraprasad (25) of Janakampally, Sridhar (32) of Medak town, Komuraiah of Hyderabad and Mahesh of Kistapur (32).
