Fourteen-year-old Hyderabad resident Akarshana received the Rotary International Young Achiever Award 2025 in New Delhi. She donated her Rs.1,00,000 prize money to build more libraries for underprivileged children and aims to set up 100 libraries across India.
The Hyderabad Public School student has single-handedly set up a library for the young patients at the MNJ Cancer Hospital, which will be inaugurated on Saturday.
