This feature is already available on Samsung Galaxy devices but unlike with Samsung phones, where the feature is available on devices running Android 10 and above, here it is limited to phones with Android 12.
According to The Verge, Android 12 is available to install right now on Pixel 3, Pixel 3A, Pixel 4, Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A 5G, the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 5A. It will launch on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro as well.
The Game Mode allows developers to optimise gameplay by prioritizing characteristics, such as performance or battery life based on users settings or game specific configurations.
"Instead of granular requirements that often result in easily forgotten passwords, we're establishing pre-set complexity levels of high, medium or low that will be used to access the device," Google said in a statement on Thursday.
