The Annual Report 2025 released by SP B Rohith Raju highlights a mixed crime trend in Kothagudem. While overall crime and POCSO cases rose, incidents of violence against women, cybercrimes, and ganja cases declined. The district recorded 6,180 cases this year, up from 5,636 last year.
Mancherial district witnessed a 19 percent rise in crimes in 2025 compared to the previous year, with 5,289 offences registered against 4,457 in 2024. Commissioner of Police Amber Kishore Jha reported increases in kidnappings, grievous injuries, missing cases and thefts, though some offences declined.
