CPI (Maoist) Central Committee member Sahadev Soren, carrying a Rs 1 crore bounty, was killed in Jharkhand along with two associates. His death comes five days after fellow CCM Modem Balakrishna was eliminated in Chhattisgarh, further depleting the Maoist top brass.
Three Maoists, including Sahdev Soren, a top CPI (Maoist) leader with a ₹1 crore bounty, were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district early Monday. The encounter triggered a large-scale search operation in Pantitri forest.
