Hyderabad: Just five days after Modem Balakrishna, a Central Committee Member (CCM) of the CPI (Maoist) was shot dead in a gun battle with security forces in Ghariaband of Chhattisgarh, yet another CCM Sahadev Soren was killed in an exchange of fire in Karando locality in Jharkhand on Monday morning.

Reports said Sahadev Soren, one of the 14 members of the top decision maming body of the CPI (Maoist) was killed along with two of his comrades. He carried a reward of Rs 1 crore on his head.

The two other slain Maoists were identified as Raghunath Hembram @ Chanchal, with a Rs 25 lakh bounty, and Birsen Ganjhu @ Ramkhelawan, carrying Rs 10 lakh.
