A historic garden at the 1889 SCB CEO residence in Secunderabad will be acquired for the NH-44 elevated corridor. Demarcation is complete, and work will begin soon. Officials plan to transplant some trees, while nearby structures will also be removed for excavation
Construction of elevated corridor from Paradise to Suchitra Junction has caused massive traffic chaos on 6-km Bowenpally stretch. Diversions will continue till July 2025 or longer, leading to long delays, peak-hour jams and angry reactions from daily commuters.
