Healthy eating does not always require strict diets. Cutting out food groups, trusting “healthy” labels, eating too little protein, ignoring portions, drinking sugary beverages and blindly following diet trends can undermine balanced eating and make healthy habits difficult to sustain.
Sourdough bread, increasingly popular in cafes and supermarkets, offers nutritional benefits such as a lower glycaemic index, improved mineral absorption, and gut health support due to fermentation. However, it is not a miracle food and should be consumed as part of a balanced diet.
