Amitabh Bachchan spent a day on an Indian Navy warship, expressing deep pride and admiration for the armed forces, praising their sacrifice, discipline and dedication in his social media and blog posts.

Taking to his blog, he wrote: “And the wellwishers .. in somewhat limited numbers and enthu, because of the IND v NZ .. but still a joy as ever. Sat in one spot .. sat in the style of the required tashan ... and the VICTORY !!”

The actor took to his Instagram on Sunday, and shared a picture with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. He lauded the Majhi Mumbai franchise, endorsed by Sachin, on winning the season this time. The team is owned by veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

This year marks Pankaj’s second consecutive year of participation, having also supported the initiative in its previous season.

Earlier this month, the thespian returned from his New Year holiday and was back on work mode.

The actor cleverly disguised his injury while filming several movies. For instance, in “Inquilaab”, he wrapped his hand in a handkerchief, and in “Sharaabi”, he kept it tucked in his pocket, showcasing his resourcefulness in managing the situation.
