Police arrested four persons on charges of killing a female bison in the Sathupalli forest range in the district on January 19.

Sirpur (T) Forest Range Officer Ch Purnachandar said a male bison aged two years from Maharashtra fell into the well which had low water level.

Each child also took part in an activity of adopting a new animal and also designed an animal protector badge.
