Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy appealed to trade union leaders to work for the victory of BRS candidates in the February 11 municipal elections, indicating efforts to return to the party he had quit earlier to join the Congress.
A special meeting has been convened on Monday for the trust vote. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed in the town in view of the floor test and to prevent any untoward incidents.
