The Builders Association of India has urged the Telangana government to clear pending contractor payments, warning that prolonged delays have caused severe financial distress, with some contractors reportedly facing extreme consequences amid worsening economic conditions.
Construction management platform Powerplay has expanded its procurement-linked credit solution to Hyderabad, integrating financing into contractor workflows. With over 2,000 projects already on the platform, the move aims to help builders manage cash flows as the city’s construction sector grows.
Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy made it clear that those who have already obtained permissions for their projects could remain worry-free
"Though we have ideological differences with a few people but in terms of Telangana’s development, there are no other differences," Revanth Reddy said.
