In the incident that was recorded by CCTV camera, a youth wearing a hooded jacket was seen dousing the car with petrol and setting it on fire. In a similar incident in Khammam, a jeep of a person, Chand Pasha, was set on fire by unidentified miscreants at Bathupalli village of Sathupalli mandal

As per available information, the incident occurred when the car which was proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Aramghar reached near Pillar No.211
