Watch: Moving car catches fire on PVNR Expressway in Hyderabad, none hurt

As per available information, the incident occurred when the car which was proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Aramghar reached near Pillar No.211

Hyderabad: A moving car caught fire on the PVNR Expressway on Tuesday afternoon. No casualties were reported. The driver and passengers inside managed to escape on spotting flames emanating from the engine.

As per available information, the incident occurred when the car which was proceeding from Mehdipatnam towards Aramghar reached near Pillar No.211. A short circuit in the engine is suspected to have caused the fire, which eventually gutted the car.

While a fire engine rushed to the spot and doused the flames immediately, the incident triggered traffic congestion on the busy route.

The traffic police reached the spot and removed the vehicle from the flyover and cleared the traffic.
