Government school teachers in Telangana have raised concerns over the growing role of NGOs in education, alleging that private organisations are being allowed to handle academics instead of strengthening schools. They also demanded relief from non-teaching duties and better infrastructure.
TS UTF president Chava Ravi and general secretary A Venkat requested the government to immediately withdraw the decision to deploy regular teachers for inspection duties.
