Hyderabad: If the government schools were to survive, the State government must focus on primary education besides commencing pre-primary classes in the primary schools, said Chava Ravi, president Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TS UTF).
Speaking at the 12th TS UTF foundation day celebrations organised here on Sunday, Ravi said the government must provide basic facilities besides appointing supervisory officers for monitoring all schools.
TS UTF general secretary A Venkat wanted the government to take up teachers transfers and promotions during the summer vacation. He demanded the government release all pending bills and five outstanding DAs. He also wanted cashless medical treatment facility for all teachers, abolition of CPS and PRC implementation with effect from July 1, 2023.
