The unsigned statement released to the media late on Sunday night claimed that 35 Maoist cadres were killed in the encounter in the forests between Gowadi, Bondos-Thulthuli on the borders of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts on October 4. The statement contained the names of 35 cadres reportedly killed during the counter.
