When granting bail to the actor, the court instructed him to visit the police station every Sunday for two months and sign the register. This requirement is intended to ensure that the actor, as the suspect, does not go into hiding or abscond after being granted bail.
The actor, who was summoned by the police in connection with a stampede incident during screening of ‘Pusha 2: The Rule’ movie at Sandhya Theatre, arrived at Chikkadpally Police Station in Ashok Nagar at 11.05 am here on Tuesday.
While all arrangements are being made by the police at Chikkadpally police station in anticipation of appearance of actor Allu Arjun in connection with the Sandhya theatre stampede case, suspense continues with a huge crowd expected to gather again.
After recording his statement, the police are expected to take him to the Gandhi Hospital for a medical check up and later produce him before the court or magistrate for remanding him in judicial custody.
The incident took place a few months ago whne the Inspector Prasad was working at the Chikkadpally police station in the city. The Inspector with the help of two persons got a realtor Raju kidnapped and took him to ECIL and assaulted him.
