Task force police arrested 16 persons for allegedly indulging in cockfighting on the outskirts of Kallempalli village in Mancherial. Police seized four roosters, 45 knives, 12 mobile phones, 18 motorbikes and Rs 24,040 cash from the accused persons.
The police had arrested 64 persons during a raid at a farm house in Moinabad where the rooster fight was organised. The police seized over Rs. 30 lakhs in cash, 86 roosters, casino coins and seized 54 cars during the raid
