Punjab and Haryana continued to face severe cold conditions on Sunday, with Hisar recording the lowest temperature at 2.5 degrees Celsius. Dense fog reduced visibility across several areas as winter chill persisted in both states.
Rajasthan experienced cold and dry weather with isolated fog in Udaipur and Kota divisions. Karauli was the coldest at 3.1°C, while Barmer recorded 29°C. The Meteorological Centre forecasts continued cold and dry conditions across the state in the coming days
Freezing conditions persisted across the erstwhile Adilabad district on Monday, with Arli (T) in Bheempur mandal recording 7.9°C and Ginnedhari in Tiryani mandal logging 8.2°C. Dense fog affected movement on NH-44, while residents stayed indoors and farmers halted fieldwork.
Ginnedhari village in Tiryani mandal recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Telangana at 6.8 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Sirpur (U) mandal with a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures in Kerameri, Wankidi, and Chintalamanepalli mandals ranged between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.
