Over 40 per cent of the farmers’ crop loans not waived, says CPI National Executive member Chada Venkat Reddy

Confusion surrounded the loan waiver as many farmers with loans under ₹1 lakh did not receive relief. The sangham held a dharna at the collectorate on Monday, demanding loan waivers for all eligible farmers.

The CPI State unit has warned that if the proposal was not immediately withdrawn the party would launch a mass movement against it.
