SC/ST Commission Chairman Bakki Venkataiah has urged the Medak police to register SC/ST Atrocity Act cases against the assailants apart from the murder case.
Congress SC Cell leader Marrelli Anil (28) was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kulcharam mandal, Medak. Bullets were found near his body, but cause of death is yet to be confirmed. Police have launched an investigation.
Rama Rao criticised the Congress government for failing to implement electoral promises for SC and ST communities, stating, “There’s no sign of Dalit Bandhu or BC declaration being fulfilled. Instead, leaders representing these groups are regularly insulted.”
