Rescue teams in Kedarnath Temple airlifted two ailing pilgrims for advanced treatment amid the ongoing Char Dham Yatra rush. Meanwhile, Badrinath Temple recorded over 5.56 lakh devotees within a month, surpassing previous pilgrimage records

The DDRF rescued six family members, including three women and a child, trapped in a flooded house in Gudihathnoor mandal of Adilabad. Heavy rains also flooded shops in Utnoor, displaced families in Indervelli, and stranded residents in low-lying areas of the town

District administration, police, and other security forces are continuously working to rescue stranded pilgrims and locals

In all 51 persons were trapped in the flood waters, and 41 persons were rescued using DDRF boats and a Navy helicopter that reached the spot from Eluru in Andhra Pradesh when reports last came in. Efforts were still on to rescue the remaining 10 persons.
