The election of a TRS corporator as the Mayor is definite, given the strength, it has in the municipal corporation council.

The GHMC elections were held on December 1 and the results were declared on December 4 last year.

On the same day, the swearing in of newly elected corporators will be conducted. Unless, the Mayor elections are conducted, Deputy Mayor elections cannot be held.
