IS Sadan police have registered a case against a UK-based doctor and his sister for allegedly plotting a murder by hiring a contract killer for Rs 25 lakh. The complaint stems from a family property dispute, and an investigation is underway.
Prohibition and Excise officials, along with the Narcotics Task Force, raided the Musheerabad residence of city-based doctor John Paul and seized narcotics worth Rs 3 lakh. The doctor allegedly let his home be used for drug sales in exchange for free drugs.
