Luxettipett Sub-Inspector P Satish said that Jaineni Bheemakka, a daily wage earner from the village, ended her life by hanging herself.

The police registered a case against the woman, said that they recovered two more snakes from her bag.

According to locals, B Srinu Yadav (45) and Ramulamma were working as daily labourers and the couple used to fight regularly.

Sources said the suspect, who was upset over a family dispute with her husband and in-laws, was allegedly in an inebriated condition when she committed the crime.
