In addition to that, valuables worth Rs. 22.65 lakh and 34.56 liters of liquor were also seized. Six complaints were also received regarding cash and other items and two FIRs were registered.
All inspections are being videotaped by the officers and anyone carrying more than Rs 50,000 in cash without valid proof of possession is being intercepted.
"The State government achieved several awards due to hard work of MGNREGA employees. The government is now working on ways to utilise the services of field assistants," he said.
