BRS leader and former TNGO president G Devi Prasad has extended support to employees protesting against the Employees’ Health Scheme (EHS), raising questions over its implementation and lack of cashless medical services.

On its part, the State government would be extending equal matching contribution to the new Employee Health Care Trust

Employees and pensioners will contribute to the EHCT, a specified amount each month, to be deducted every month from their remunerations/pensions.
